RESIDENT EVIL 4 REMAKE - LE TEST : Meilleur que l'original ?

Mon test avis critique de Resident Evil 4 Remake qui m'a été envoyé en avance par Capcom France. J'ai l'autorisation de Capcom France pour sortir cette review une semaine avant la sortie officielle du jeu en respectant l'embargo quant aux spoilers et sections qu'on peut présenter. Test réalisé sur la version PC du jeu, mais je pense que l'expérience sera à peu près identique quelle que soit la plate-forme PS5 Series X ou même PS4 et Series S. C'est la toute première fois depuis le début de l'existence de cette chaîne que j'ai la chance de tester un jeu avant sa sortie. J'ai reçu le jeu il y a environ une semaine ce qui m'a laissé largement assez de temps. Je précise que j'ai fini le jeu en mode professionnel entre temps. Si vous connaissez la chaîne, vous savez qu'on est assez dur (mais juste!) avec les jeux vidéo, donc je tiens à souligner l'audace de Capcom, c'est extrêmement rare dans le milieu. Un immense merci aux members de la chaîne et évidemment à toute mon équipe pour me permettre d'être encore là. I'm still debating whether I prefer RE1 NGC or RE4R. I think RE1 NGC was more groundbreaking, that game still looks amazing today, but RE4R offers the best campaign in the RE franchise yet, they improved on what was already a great game for 2005 (my favorite game that year), they made the best choices to ensure you play this game over & over. I can't stop playing it. It's incredibly fun, it's very challenging (more than the OG, I beat RE4R in professional and it was HELL), there are surprises if you're very familiar with the original, the sound design & musics are awesome, the parry system is great, the level design has nice surprises & twists, it's impossible to go back to OG RE4 after this remake. I tried & I immediately went back to the remake. Some people might regret some scenes have disappeared but the scenes that are gone are moments I didn't enjoy, at all, in the original. Except one, but I can't spoil it. On the other hand, there are some new things that vastly improve on the original game. The tone is much more consistent too, and darker. Now, it's not perfect, I'd like Capcom to bring back some gameplay mechanics from RE6 (being able to dive, mostly) and I hope the next entry in the series is 100% next gen. The game looks fine as it is, but it feels like a PS4 game, even on PC. Can't wait for Mercenaries which will come as a free DLC, but no word on Assignment Ada/Separate Ways yet. My rating: 8/10 (it's a great rating for this channel)
