Every time he’s on the verge of creating an invention that will change the sixties, he fails to bring his vision to fruition. However, after a dream spurs the unfortunate genius to assemble a device made from components scattered around his Venice-inspired hometown, Hector realizes the solution to all his problems is within reach. Just before he achieves his goal, the inventor is thrust forward into the nineties. Thankfully he meets the tenacious artist Margaret before he’s trapped beneath a pile of flannel shirts and high-waisted jeans. The pair begin a colorful adventure where humor, fantasy, and time travel collide. Between encountering odd characters and avoiding curious predicaments, Hector and Margaret might even wind up saving the world.
