Final Fantasy XVI (FF 16) You Can Pet the Dog Trophy Guide - Pet Torgal 5 times. [Bronze] First, you must reach Main Quest 09: Fanning Embers. At this point you automatically unlock a dog companion called Torgal. After you get a tutorial to press L3 to use Torgal's Animal Instinct to show you the next objective, you can pet him. He will have a heart icon over his head. You must pet him 5 times total, this can be done in a row in the same spot. You can still pet him later at any point, it's still possible after the story.
