Final Fantasy XVI (FF 16) The Hand of Dione (Garuda) Chronolith Trial Walkthrough. There are 7 Chronolith Trials in FF XVI. You must beat all of them to get a Curiosity for trophy "For the Hoard". There is 1 Trial per Eikon (7 Eikons total = 7 Trials). Each Trial consists of 3 rooms that have 3 enemy waves each (= 9 waves) and 1 boss at the end. The goal is to finish all rooms before time runs out. You gain bonus time by doing certain combos and using certain eikon-specific abilities displayed at the start of each trial room. If one isn't available it means you need to progress the story further. Craft Gotterdammerung, the best weapon, shown here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uc087SX9Yvk Your gear and level carry over so it will be easier if you keep the trials after you're done with all quests and reached Level 45 or higher. If you want to make this really easy, equip the "Ring of Timely Evasion" and "Ring of Timely Strikes". These activate Autododge and Autocombo. Then all you need to do is mash the Square-Button and it will do combos that increase time. Spam the Eikon abilities as soon as they recharge. Activate Limit Break in the 3rd wave of each room to defeat the last enemies quicker. Only exception where this doesn't work is Odin's trial, there you want to unequip the Autocombo Ring and charge to Level 5 Zanetsuken and spam this each wave to instant-kill all enemies (the ring would trigger Zanetsuken prematurely). In all other challenges the rings work fine.
